In 2015, Brian Weber and Justin May founded the Dixie Law Group with one simple mission: to help people get access to excellent attorneys who truly understand their community. They wanted to create a law firm that was approachable, local, and grounded in the values of honesty and hard work.
The firm’s name — and its spirit — were inspired by Dixie Highway, one of America’s first interstate highways and a symbol of Louisville’s blue-collar tradition. From the beginning, the goal was clear: provide high-quality legal help to hardworking people without the barriers often found in big downtown firms.
That’s why the firm’s first office was opened right on Dixie Highway — conveniently located next to Kroger and the Jefferson County Clerk’s Office, with free parking and easy sidewalk access. The idea was simple but powerful: make legal help accessible, transparent, and neighborly.
What started as a single office serving the South End quickly grew as word spread about the firm’s results and reputation. Clients from Paducah to Pikeville — and even across state lines into Illinois, Indiana, and Missouri — began reaching out for help.
Today, the Dixie Law Group proudly operates three offices — on Dixie Highway, in St. Matthews, and in Mt. Washington — ensuring that clients across the region have convenient access to legal support.
Over time, the firm expanded from its personal injury roots into a thriving estate planning practice, helping families prepare for the future with wills, trusts, and probate services.
