John hails from Bowling Green, Kentucky where he received a bachelor’s degree in 2011 from Western Kentucky University before moving to Louisville to work in a craft brewery.
After several years of brewing craft beer, John decided to pursue the practice of law and moved to Charleston, South Carolina to attend the Charleston School of Law. John soon realized his desire to practice in his home state, so he transferred to the University of Kentucky College of Law. At UK, John’s peers elected him Vice-President of StreetLaw at UK, an organization he helped form, where he coordinated and taught Lexington-area high school students about their constitutional rights. John also worked with indigent clients in the UK Legal Clinic and completed an externship with the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office.
Today, John’s areas of practice include car wrecks, slip/trip and falls, as well as insurance litigation throughout the Commonwealth. He is a member of the Kentucky Justice Association and the Kentucky Bar Association.
In addition to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, John is licensed to practice in the United States District Court of the Eastern and Western Districts of Kentucky. John is proud to be a Louisville resident and is humbled by the opportunity to help those of his community in need.
John lives in the Schnitzelburg neighborhood of Louisville. He enjoys cooking, disc golf, and frequenting local coffee shops and restaurants, as well as enjoying Kentucky bourbon (responsibly, of course).
